Gymnastics Training Evaluation: Meet with Karen or Send in your Video!

Correct that split leap, full turn, flight series, leap series, jump combination, gym-acro, straddle back, over shoot, giant, etc.  Let Karen help by watching your gymnast perform the skill and offering her opinion, corrections, and advice on how to improve the skill!

Karen would need to see six to ten attempts of the gymnastic skill in question to see if there is one specific mistake or whether it is a combination of several mistakes. All attempts do not have to be performed on the same day. Make sure there is nothing else on the video because Karen will only watch the first 10 – 60 minutes depending upon the length of time you request. She will watch the video more than one time and will give the video her undivided attention for the evaluation.

If you need your video back just include a return envelope with postage. Make sure your last name is on the actual video so that Karen will not confuse it with any other videos.

There is a $95.00 fee for a video less than 20 minutes and a $165.00 fee from 21 minutes to 60 minutes. A check must be enclosed with the package along with all of your contact information, email, phone, postal address.

Karen will email a report or call you with her suggestions regarding the skill in question.

Karen offers personal training for gymnasts and adults. Her web based  which includes animated workouts and follow up email or telephone calls. There is a fee for web based training, but it is extremely low compared to private training sessions or personal fitness training.

Videos can be mailed to Karen’s office. Make sure you place your gymnastics video in plastic, wrap it extremely well, and write fragile on the package several times. Gymnastics video must be sent by parent along with note regarding skill, length of time gymnast has been working on skill, level of gymnast, years in sport, age of gymnast, hours of training each week, and any other information that will help Karen learn about gymnast.
